Patch offers an inspiring alternative to the corporate conference space: a design-led event destination and away-day venue in the heart of York. Move between collaborative workshops in Academy and focused sessions in B Hive with professional AV and whiteboards, to relaxed breakout time and team lunches in the Lounge.
Keep everyone fuelled with great coffee and tea, then build in a stroll to Bishy Road with its independent shops or the historic Shambles nearby.

The Lounge's vaulted ceilings, original floorboards, arched windows and sweeping river views create a dramatic yet welcoming space for hosting, while a large dry-hire bar, space for a DJ, and catering from local favourites give you everything you need to make the space your own.
Looking for something bigger? Combine Lounge with the B Hive, Academy and Reception to take over the whole ground floor.

FAQs
Our meeting rooms are generally available for public booking from 08:30 to 18:00, Monday to Friday. We offer extended hours for our event spaces - Academy and Lounge - Monday to Sunday until 22:00.
If you need to book meeting rooms outside these hours, please contact our team to discuss possible arrangements.
Events can be booked up to six months in advance.
Cancellations must be made at least three weeks prior to the event via email. If not, 40% of the Event Hire Charge is forfeited, with the remaining 60% refunded within ten business days.
Yes, all of our event spaces are wheelchair accessible. We also have two accessible toilets, one of which has a shower.
Due to our city centre location, we do not have on site parking. However, there are a number of public car parks within walking distance which include:

Caste Car Park (YO1 9SA) (7 min walk). 30 dedicated accessible spaces | From £3.40/ hour

We do not, so please ensure you are fully covered if looking to host a children's event.
