FAQs

Can I host a meeting outside of Patch’s opening hours (8:30am-5:30am)?

Yes. We have a system in place that allows you to host your event anytime from 7am-10pm, Monday to Friday.

Can Patch help with the setup of my event?

Yes, our team are happy to help whilst they are onsite from 8:30am-5:30pm.

However, please note that the day to day running of the space must take priority and so we cannot guarantee that they be available to support at all moments.

How far in advance can I book a event?

Events can be booked up to six months in advance.

What are the transport links for people coming from further afield?

There are regular direct trains from London Liverpool Street to Chelmsford, where we are a 10 minute walk from the station.

What is your cancellation policy for events?

Cancellations must be made at least three weeks prior to the event via email. If not, 40% of the Event Hire Charge is forfeited, with the remaining 60% refunded within ten business days.

Can I book multiple spaces at once?

Yes! We have no limit on the number of event spaces booked at a given time.

Are your event spaces in Chelmsford wheelchair accessible?

Yes, all of our event spaces are wheelchair accessible and located on the ground floor.

Is there parking at Patch?

Due to our city centre location, we do not have on site parking. However, there are a number of public car parks within walking distance which include:

We do not, so please ensure you are fully covered if looking to host a children's event.
